The Food Service Program serves more than 1900 lunches and 1000 breakfasts each school day. Wholesome, well balanced meals are prepared in compliance with USDA Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Our Lunch prices reflect the mandated use of the Paid Lunch Equity tool provided by USDA The meals are served by caring, well trained staff. Each kitchen has a certified ServSafe Manager, who also holds a ServSafe Allergen Certification which is required by the State of Michigan.
Elementary students have five meal choices, while middle school students have a buffet line and an a la carte lune and the high school has a buffet and fresh & healthy lines as options plus an a la carte line.
A variety of services offered include: Free Breakfasts to ALL students; Send Money to School, where you can prepay on line or check your students lunch account; www.lunchapp.com where you can apply for free or reduced meals on line; an annual Thanksgiving Holiday Feast, and excellent catering program.
We make our Taco Meat, Spaghetti Sauce, Sloppy Joe, and Macaroni & Cheese, and other main dish items from "scratch." Michigan Grown Produce is served as much as possible.
