Video: How to use the PowerSchool Mobile App

Parents and Students can log into the PowerSchool Portal by going to the global icons on the website. Students must be logged into the Chrome browser with their IPS email credentials to log into PowerSchool.

Student access opens the second week of August. Follow these steps to log in:

1. Open Google Chrome and sign in with your IPS email address.

2. Go to the PowerSchool Portal.

3. Select Student Sign-In.

Note: When using a device on the district network, students can also quickly access the portal by clicking the IPS Resources folder in the top-left corner of the browser.

Wee the Student and Parent Help from PowerSchool. 

If you are a returning student's parent please scroll to the bottom to fill out returning forms. No need to complete the new student forms. 

Steps to Access Forms

• Log In: Go to your school district’s PowerSchool Parent Portal URL and sign in with your username and password.

• Select Student: Click on the correct student's name in the top bar if you have more than one child linked to your account.

• Open Forms: Click the Forms icon or link located on the left-hand side of the page.

• Check Tabs: Look through the category tabs at the top of the page (such as General or Enrollment) if the form does not appear right away.

• Complete Form: Click the title of the specific form you want to fill out, complete the required fields, and click Submit. Please make sure you have 3 emergency contacts.
