Food Service Director
The Food Service Program serves more than 1900 lunches and 1000 breakfasts each school day. Wholesome, well-balanced meals are prepared in compliance with USDA Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Breakfast and Lunch are free and determined by using the Paid Lunch Equity tool provided by USDA. The meals are served by caring, well-trained staff. Each kitchen has a certified ServSafe Manager, who also holds a ServSafe Allergen Certification, which is required by the State of Michigan.
Currently all schools are offering at least two options for entrees during lunch. Hot entree items are being included 3 days a week in all buildings.
A variety of services offered include: Free Breakfasts and Lunches to ALL students, Send Money to School, where you can prepay on-line or check your student's lunch account, an annual Thanksgiving Holiday Feast and excellent catering program.
Virtual Learning: Meal pickups are Monday (3 days of meals) and Thursday (2 days of meals) between 12:00-1:00. On days in person learning is cancelled the meal distribution will be the following scheduled school day.
Our Food Service Program offers free meals to all students under the Community Eligibility Provision. We do ask each parent fill out a Household Income Survey (located under Free/Reduced Meal Application on left).
