Dear IPS Elementary Families:
First, we'd like to extend our most sincere hope that you and your family are in good health during this very difficult time. Please know that all of us are thinking about each and every one of you often.
Next, we are pleased to begin our formal delivery of distance learning to all elementary students in the district. Through careful consideration and surveying of our student population's access to reliable technology, we have determined that the best way to make sure all students have the curriculum resources they need is to deliver those resources through grade level packets. Your teachers have been working very hard to assemble appropriate materials for you so that your learning does not stop while we are not able to meet in person. Those packets will be available for pickup during the week of April 20th. More information will be coming out soon regarding dates and times for pickup, but please know that we are working diligently to make sure the curriculum you receive from us fulfills the requirements for you to move to the next grade level.
In the time being, your teachers will be reaching out to you to continue to maintain the strong relationships our schools embrace. They will have plenty more details for you and instructions on how to complete your distance learning.
