Miss Courtney, Bulldog Beginnings Program Administrator
With nearly 20 years of experience in early elementary classrooms, Miss Courtney transitioned from direct teaching to a specialized role supporting educators through literacy training and coaching. Her expertise in foundational reading skills and her passion for professional growth led her to the Bulldog Beginnings preschool team, where she finds immense joy in collaborating with such a dedicated and passionate staff. Miss Courtney believes that a strong literacy foundation starts with the very first steps of preschool, and she loves being part of a team that sets students up for lifelong success. Outside of school, she stays busy keeping up with her husband and their two boys, William and Samuel. Miss Courtney enjoys baking, traveling, walking, and a good book.
Miss Becky, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
After a dedicated 31-year career in special education, Miss Becky realized her "retirement" was short-lived; she just wasn't ready to be done making a difference! Just eight months later, she followed her heart back to the classroom and joined the IPS team as an early childhood inclusion teacher with Bulldog Beginnings. Miss Becky is passionate about the preschool years because she loves watching her students master new skills and realize they are capable of doing amazing, difficult things. When she isn’t cheering on her students, she enjoys traveling to any destination with a large body of water, getting lost in a good book, and collecting ambitious new recipes. She cherishes her time at home with her husband, their two adult children, and their beloved 11-year-old Boxer.
