It can be difficult to tell whether or not your student is sick and/or contagious and needs to be kept home or if they can be sent to school. Please use this guide to help you decide whether or not your student needs to stay home. Please do not send your student to school if they are having any of these symptoms:
- Fever of 100 degrees or higher
- Severe headache
- Severe stomach ache
- Severe sore throat
- Difficulty breathing
- Persistent cough
- Dizziness or fainting
- Open Sores
- Eyes are red/have discharge
Please remember that our school policy is your child must be fever free without any fever reducing medication for 24 hours before they may return to school.
*For COVID symptoms, please refer to CDC and Ionia County Health Department guidelines.
